Email & SMS
A customer starts checkout, gets distracted, and closes the tab. Recurflux catches it and sends a 3-step recovery sequence. The sequence stops the moment they convert.

Quick answer
Checkout recovery follows up on abandoned checkout sessions. When a customer enters their email and leaves before completing payment, Recurflux fires a 3-step email sequence — at 1 hour, 24 hours, and 72 hours after abandonment. The sequence stops the moment they complete their purchase. Emails send from your domain with your branding.
The problem
Without checkout recovery
With Recurflux
How it works
01
Your checkout page fires a JS snippet event when a customer with an email address leaves without completing payment. Alternatively, your backend sends an API event. Recurflux logs the session.
02
While intent is still warm, Recurflux sends the first email. Short, direct, with a link back to their checkout session. No pressure — just a reminder.
03
If they did not convert, a second email goes out. This one focuses on value — what they were signing up for and why it matters.
04
Last touchpoint. A final call-to-action with a direct checkout link. After this, the sequence ends regardless of outcome.
05
The moment a customer completes their purchase, any unsent emails are cancelled. They will never receive a recovery email after buying.
What you control
01
Edit subject lines, body copy, and CTA text for each of the 3 steps. Emails send from your domain with your logo. Preview before activating.
02
The "complete your purchase" link can point to your checkout URL, a pre-filled cart, or a custom landing page. You control where the customer lands.
03
Every abandoned checkout is logged: customer email, timestamp, amount, and sequence status. See which step they converted on or how far each sequence went.
Recover abandoned checkouts with timed follow-ups. Connect and start recovering lost sales.

A checkout session where the customer entered at least an email address but did not complete payment. Recurflux captures the event via a JS snippet on your checkout page or an API event from your backend — whichever fits your stack.
Three emails fire on a fixed cadence: 1 hour after abandonment, 24 hours, and 72 hours. The sequence stops the moment the customer converts — they will never receive a follow-up email after completing their purchase.
Yes. All three templates are editable — subject line, body copy, and the call-to-action link. Emails send from your domain with your logo. Customers see your brand, not Recurflux.
Surge and Rule plans only. It is not included on the Rise plan.
Yes. It also works with Paddle, Cashfree, and custom checkout flows via the Recurflux API event. The JS snippet approach works for any checkout page that fires a client-side event.
